The 13th Corps Commander Polo Cup 2025, sponsored by Newage Cables and organized by Jinnah Polo Fields, continued in electrifying fashion on its second day as three high-profile matches enthralled polo fans in the provincial capital. Teams Newage Cables/SQ Seagold, RIJAS/Sheikhoo and FG/Asean recorded impressive victories to underline their title ambitions.
Jinnah Polo Fields witnessed a large turnout of spectators, including families and polo enthusiasts, creating a vibrant sporting atmosphere. Club Secretary Major (R) Adil Sultan Rao and several prominent polo players were present to watch the contests.
In the opening match, Newage Cables/SQ Seagold defeated Master Paints 8–5 in a fiercely competitive encounter. Iranian star Amirreza Behboudi delivered a brilliant performance with five goals, while Bilal Haider added two and Ali Kuli Khan scored once. For Master Paints, Lt Col Omer Minhas and Raja Temur Nadeem, who replaced Ahmed Ali, struck two goals each, while Abdul Rehman Monnoo added one.
The second fixture saw RIJAS/Sheikhoo overpower FG/Din 8–2 in a one-sided affair. Raja Samiullah led the scoring with four goals, while Mumtaz Abbas Niazi and Osman Aziz Anwar contributed two apiece. Juan Cruz Groogli scored both goals for FG/Din.
The most dramatic contest of the day came in the final match, where FG/Asean edged past Diamond Paints 7–6 after an absorbing battle. Saqib Khan Khakwani was outstanding with four goals, while Raja Mikayial Sami added three. Diamond Paints fought back strongly with Raja Jalal Arsalan scoring four goals, and Temur Nadeem and Mir Shoaib Ahmed adding one each.
