Pakistan’s T20I captain Salman Ali Agha has been officially nominated for the Big Bash League (BBL) 15 Draft, as Cricket Australia released the complete list of overseas players set to take part in the selection process.

The draft, scheduled for June 19, features over 600 players from across the world. A total of 74 male and 11 female cricketers from Pakistan have submitted their names for the men’s and Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) drafts.

Joining Salman in the latest list of nominees are wicketkeeper batter Mohammad Haris and mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed. The trio is aiming for their first BBL stints after making a strong impact in recent international and domestic matches.

These players now join a group of Pakistani stars who had already registered for the BBL draft, including Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Usama Mir, and Mohammad Hasnain.Meanwhile, Pakistan’s star batter Babar Azam has already secured a contract ahead of the draft. He was signed by Sydney Sixers as one of 15 marquee overseas players confirmed across both BBL and WBBL competitions.

The men’s draft includes a wide pool of players from countries such as England (178), West Indies (42), Sri Lanka (13), and India (1). On the women’s side, the list features players from England (46), India (15), New Zealand (15), and Pakistan (11).Brisbane Heat will have the first pick in the men’s draft and will be the first team to select from this competitive international talent pool.
