Anthony Joshua reveals weight two weeks before Jake Paul fight

Two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has shared his weight two weeks before the Jake Paul fight.Joshua is set to take on Paul in a sanctioned bout on December 19 at Miami’s Kaseya CentreAccording to the contract of the fight, Joshua cannot weigh more than 245lbs (111kg) when he hits the scales before the bout.

AJ has never weighed more than 254lbs during his boxing career, in which he fought 32 times.

Before his last five fights, the British boxer had come in between 250lbs and 255lbs.

With just 15 days to go to his Netflix mismatch with American Jake Paul, he is on weight.

On Thursday, Anthony Joshua shared a video on X in which he was stepping on a scale and weighing 101.6kg.

“They must have forgot. I’m used to dealing with big weights & scales. 243.8lb,” Joshua captioned his X post.The fight was arranged after Jake Paul’s planned bout with Gervonta Davis on November 14 was cancelled due to new allegations of domestic abuse against the WBA lightweight champion.

Former heavyweight champion of the world, Joshua, is making a comeback to the ring after a long time, as he has not fought since his defeat to Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium in September 2024, where he sustained injuries.

Paul vs Joshua fight is officially sanctioned as an eight-round bout with 10 oz gloves, while reports indicate that a total purse of £140 million will be divided equally, with each fighter earning about £70 million.
