Pakistan U16 beat India U16 in semi final

Pakistan’s U16 volleyball team delivered a commanding performance to defeat arch-rivals India in straight sets and storm into the final of the Asian Men’s U16 Volleyball Championship 2025 The Green Shirts sealed the semi-final with a convincing 3–0 win, registering set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-12.With strong serves, solid blocking, and clinical finishing, Pakistan never allowed India to settle throughout the match. The dominant display reflected the team’s form throughout the tournament, as they maintained their unbeaten streak on the road to the final.

Earlier in the championship, Pakistan topped Group D with a flawless record, winning all three group matches in straight sets against South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Chinese Taipei. In the quarter-final, they overcame Indonesia with another 3–0 victory (25–23, 25–20, 25–20), showcasing their consistency and depth across the squad.

This is the second consecutive time Pakistan has reached the final of the Asian U16 Championship. In the previous edition, held in 2023, Pakistan also made it to the final but had to settle for the silver medal after a close defeat to Iran. Now, in a much-anticipated rematch, Pakistan will once again face Iran in the final on July 19, with hopes high of turning silver into gold and bringing the continental title home for the first time.
