Arshad Nadeem aims at winning javelin gold at Islamic Solidarity Games
Pakistan’s star Olympian Arshad Nadeem is all set to compete in the javelin throw event at the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with hopes of securing a gold medal for the nation. The competition is scheduled for 19 November, and the renowned javelin thrower expressed confidence in his preparation and readiness to deliver a stellar performance. Arshad told pksportslink.com: “Preparations are going very well. There are still a couple of days left before my event. I am focused on my final training sessions, and InshaAllah, I aim to perform my best and make Pakistan proud.” He further urged the nation to keep him in their prayers, adding, “It is a great honour to represent Pakistan at such a prestigious event, and I will give my all to achieve a medal for my country.” Arshad is the first Pakistani individual to win gold medal for the country at the Paris Olympics 2024. His presence in Riyadh is being closely followed by fans and sports enthusiasts across Pakistan, who hope to see him add to the nation’s growing medal tally in international athletics.
