Master Paints, Indus Polo qualify for subsidiary final of Maj Gen Saeed uz Zaman Janjua Memorial Polo Cup

Master Paints and Indus Polo qualified for the subsidiary final on the fourth day of the 13th Major General Saeed uz Zaman Janjua Memorial Polo Cup, sponsored by JS Bank.

Organised by the Club (Lahore Garrison Polo Ground), a large number of families and spectators gathered at the Fortress Stadium, Lahore, to enjoy the thrilling matches.

The first set of the matches was played under the American system between Master Paints, Balochistan, and Chakor Ventures, consisting of two chukkers each. Master Paints defeated Balochistan by 4–1 and later overcame Chakor Ventures by 4–2.5, thus securing their place in the subsidiary final.

Meanwhile, Indus Polo triumphed over Sula Polo by 8–5.5 to book their spot in the subsidiary final. For Indus Polo, Ibrahim Khalil scored three goals, while Pir Mujeeb and Bilal Haye added two goals each, and Mohammad Ali Malik contributed one goal. For Sula Polo, having one and a half goal handicap advantage, Dr. Hamza Ejaz netted three goals, and George Alberto scored one.
