Fortabbas RFC lifts Pakistan U18 Boys Rugby Championship title

The Pakistan Rugby Union (PRU) successfully hosted the Under-18 Boys Rugby Championship at the Pakistan Rugby Academy, Lahore Cantt, bringing together some of the most promising young rugby talent from across the country.
According to PRU Secretary Salman Sheikh, five teams participated in this national-level tournament: Alpha Star RFC, Peshawar RFC, Islamabad Jinns RFC, Fortabbas RFC, and Royal King RFC Farooqabad. He said such events provide young players with an ideal platform to showcase their skills and compete at a higher level. The competition featured thrilling matches, with teams displaying outstanding skill, discipline, and preparation, highlighting the growing strength of youth rugby in Pakistan.
After a series of hard-fought games, Fortabbas RFC emerged as champions, edging past Islamabad Jinns RFC 12–10 in a nail-biting final. Earlier, Fortabbas had defeated KPK RFC (24–0), Jinns RFC (19–7), and Royal King RFC (10–7) in the semi-final. Jinns RFC booked their place in the final by overcoming Alpha Star RFC 19–14.
In classification matches, Alpha Star RFC secured third place, Royal King RFC finished fourth, while Peshawar RFC ended in fifth position. With Fortabbas RFC lifting the trophy, the final standings were: 1st Fortabbas RFC, 2nd Islamabad Jinns RFC, 3rd Alpha Star RFC, 4th Royal King RFC Farooqabad, and 5th Peshawar RFC.
