FIFA President Gianni Infantino meets PFF President Syed Mohsen Gilani in Miami

Miami – FIFA President Gianni Infantino met with Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) President Syed Mohsen Gilani during the FIFA Club World Cup in Miami.Gianni Infantino congratulated Mohsen Gilani on his recent election and the Executive Committee and commended the renewed momentum in Pakistan’s football governance. He expressed optimism about Pakistan’s football potential and reaffirmed FIFA’s full support for the sport’s growth and development in the country.

Infantino also expressed his desire to help elevate Pakistan football to greater heights and encouraged all stakeholders to work with the new PFF leadership. He accepted an official invitation to visit Pakistan, with the visit to be planned at a mutually agreed-upon date.

President Gilani thanked Infantino for the warm reception and outlined his vision to revive and expand football in Pakistan through institutional reforms, talent development and enhanced infrastructure. He also briefed the FIFA President on the PFF’s short- and long-term goals.
