Kashif Ali’s Record-Breaking 2024 Season

Kashif Ali firmly cemented his reputation as Worcestershire’s leading scorer last season. Stepping into the number three batting position left vacant by Azhar Ali, Kashif compiled an extraordinary tally of nearly 800 runs. His consistent performances, averaging 42.61, included two impressive centuries and five fifties, which played a key role in Worcestershire securing their spot in Division One.

Rigorous Schedule Awaits Kashif Ali in the President’s Trophy

The 26-year-old will once again represent Ghani Glass in Pakistan’s competitive nine-team President’s Trophy tournament. This year, Kashif Ali faces an intense schedule of eight group-stage matches spread over an eight-week period, concluding in February.

Reflecting on his preparations, Kashif Ali stated, “Last winter’s experience was invaluable. It gave me a strong foundation that helped me perform when I returned to Worcestershire. This winter, I aim to learn even more, particularly in developing my leg spin in addition to improving my batting.”

Ghani Glass kicks off their campaign on January 14 with a four-day match against Eshaal in Karachi. The tournament’s format will see the top two teams advancing to the final, set to take place in April.
