Exciting Matches and Victories at the 34th National Games Tennis Team Events

The Pakistan Tennis Federation would like to announce that the 34th National Games’ Men and Women’s tennis team events took place at the PTF Tennis Complex, located on Garden Avenue in Islamabad. In the Men’s team events Final, WAPDA emerged victorious by defeating ARMY with a score of 2-1, securing the Gold Medal.

Aqeel Khan, representing Wapda, made an impressive start by defeating the young Abdullah Adnan. Huzaifa Abdul Rehman then leveled the tie by defeating Muhammad Abid with a score of 6-0, 6-0. In the deciding doubles match, the seasoned pair of Aqeel Khan and Shahzad Khan overcame Huzaifa Abdul Rehman and Abdullah Adnan, clinching the Gold for Wapda.

Moving on to the women’s team events final, Sarah Mahboob Khan gave Wapda a positive start by defeating the promising Amna Ali Qayum. The best match of the day featured Ushna Suhail, who managed to defeat Mahin Aftab after three intense sets.
