Din/FG storm into JPFL Times Polo Cup final, AOS secure subsidiary final berth

Din/FG and AOS delivered commanding performances to secure places in the main and subsidiary finals, respectively, in the six-goal JPF Times Polo Cup 2026 at Jinnah Polo Fields.

In the day’s opening encounter, Din/FG showcased impressive teamwork and attacking polo to overpower Diamond Paints/Imperial 8-3, booking their place in the tournament’s main final. Raja Taimur Nadeem and Ahmed Bilal Riaz were the architects of the convincing victory, scoring three goals apiece. Ameen-ur-Rehman Fazal and Ayan Salman added one goal each to complete the tally.

On the other hand, Diamond Paints/Imperial tried to stay competitive, with Bilal Haye finding the target twice and Jalal Arsalan contributing one goal, but Din/FG maintained control to secure a comfortable five-goal victory and also earned a place in the main final of the event.

The second match also produced an entertaining contest, with AOS displaying remarkable attacking strength to defeat Lotto Carpets Singapore 12-5 and qualify for the subsidiary final. Col Omer Minhas led AOS’s charge with an outstanding four-goal contribution, while Abdullah Ejaz and Hamza Ali Hakeem scored three goals each. Maisam Haider Baloch further strengthened the winning effort with two goals, completing an impressive team performance.

Despite managing five goals, Lotto Carpets Singapore could not match AOS’s attacking momentum as their opponents dominated the encounter and comfortably secured qualification. The tournament will continue on Friday with two important matches as the competing teams look to strengthen their positions ahead of the concluding finals.
