Master Paints/Skywell main final, Indus Polo reach subsidiary final in 11th Battle-Axe Polo Cup

Master Paints/Skywell stormed into the main final while Indus Polo secured their place in the subsidiary final on the fourth day of the 11th Battle-Axe Polo Cup 2025, sponsored by TCL and held under the auspices of the Lahore Garrison Polo Grounds.

The tournament, featuring competitive fixtures and impressive displays of horsemanship, continues to draw strong interest from Lahore’s vibrant polo community. Club Secretary Major Babar Mehboob Awan and other officials were present during the matches played at the Fortress Stadium Lahore.

The day featured two American-system pools, with each match consisting of two chukkas. In the first group, Master Paints/Skywell showcased outstanding teamwork. They edged Balochistan 4–3.5 in a thrilling opener and later sealed a narrow 4–3 victory against Diamond Paints/Din Polo. The third match of the group saw Diamond Paints/Din Polo defeat Balochistan 4–3.5. With two consecutive wins, Master Paints/Skywell comfortably booked their berth in the main final.

In the second group, Indus Polo dominated proceedings. They first outclassed Sula Polo in style and then overcame Imperial Polo to secure qualification for the subsidiary final in the event.
