SEAFA Logistics International and FG/Din emerged victorious on the second day of the 13th Major General Saeed Uz Zaman Janjua Memorial Polo Cup, sponsored by JS Bank, being played under the Lahore Garrison Polo Ground.
The matches, played at the Fortress Stadium, attracted a large crowd of families and polo enthusiasts, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Among the attendees were Club Secretary Major Babar Mehboob Awan and other distinguished guests, who witnessed two thrilling encounters showcasing exceptional polo skills and competitive spirit.
In the day’s opening match, SEAFA Logistics International outpaced SULA Polo with an impressive 6½–3 victory. SEAFA’s triumph was powered by Mumtaz Abbas Niazi and Col Omer Minhas (retd), who scored two goals each, while Asmar Aqdas and Muzammil added one goal apiece. For SULA Polo, George Alberto Navarro netted two goals and Suleman Baber Aziz contributed one.
The second encounter saw FG/Din maintain their dominance, defeating Indus Polo by 8–5 in an action-packed match. Hamza Mawaz Khan led the charge with four goals, while Mir Huzaifa Ahmed and Sheikh Muhammad Raffay chipped in with two goals each. For Indus Polo, Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haq and Ibrahim Khalil struck two goals apiece, and Muhammad Ali Malik added one.
