The ACTIVIT Margalla Triathlon 2026 has been dedicated to Pakistan’s martyrs and Armed Forces on Marka-e-Haq Day, said the CEO of ACTIVIT and Director of National Hospital DHA Rd. Rizwan Aftab Ahmed.
In a heartfelt message issued ahead of the prestigious sporting event, the organisers paid glowing tribute to the nation’s heroes who sacrificed their lives for the honor, peace, and sovereignty of Pakistan. The statement described the sacrifices of the martyrs as the foundation of the country’s strength and resilience, emphasising that their courage continues to inspire generations across the nation.
“Their bravery is etched into the soul of our nation, and their sacrifice remains the heartbeat of our freedom,” the statement read. “From the towering mountains to every corner of this resilient homeland, their legacy lives on in every flag that waves proudly and in every citizen who walks freely under it.”
The ACTIVIT Margalla Triathlon, one of the country’s emerging endurance sporting events, has been positioned not only as a celebration of athletic excellence, endurance, and unity, but also as a symbol of national solidarity and tribute to those who defended Pakistan with unwavering courage and determination.
The organisers highlighted that the spirit demonstrated by Pakistan’s martyrs and defenders serves as an inspiration for athletes participating in the triathlon, encouraging them to embody resilience, discipline, commitment, and perseverance in both sports and life. “Pakistan stands because they stood first. Pakistan endures because they never surrendered. And Pakistan will rise even higher because their sacrifices will never be forgotten,” the statement further added.
Sports circles have appreciated the initiative, describing it as a meaningful blend of patriotism and healthy sporting activity that promotes national unity while encouraging youth participation in endurance sports. The ACTIVIT Margalla Triathlon is expected to attract athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and sports lovers from across the country, while also serving as a platform to honor the enduring sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces and civilians.
