Pakistan’s leading ITF senior tennis player Rashid Ahmed Malik (Tamgha-e-Imtiaz) clinched the men’s 60+ singles title at the RLK Group ITF Masters Tennis Championship 2026, concluded at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah Lahore.
In the men’s singles 60+ final, Malik outclassed Israr Gull in straight sets, winning 6-1, 6-3. Malik dominated proceedings from the outset, using precise shot placement and consistency to keep his opponent under pressure. Gull struggled to find rhythm against Malik’s aggressive yet controlled play, as the seasoned campaigner wrapped up the title in convincing fashion.
The men’s doubles 45+ final witnessed a competitive battle as Syed Hadi and Shehryar Salamat overcame Hasan Said and Qadir Nawaz in a three-set contest with a score of 6-2, 3-6, 10-3. The men’s doubles 50+ final delivered another gripping encounter, as Ashar Ali Khan and Hasan Saiid staged a comeback to defeat M. Arif and Tanveer Haral by by 4-6, 7-5, 10-6.
Rashid Latif Khan, Chairman of RLK Group, graced the prize distribution ceremony as the chief guest. He was joined by the guest of honour, Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), as both dignitaries distributed prizes and shields among the winners across various age-group categories.
