Players from across the country are competing in the senior boys category, showcasing their talent and competitive spirit. The opening day, held on Saturday, witnessed a series of exciting and high-intensity first-round encounters, drawing keen interest from squash enthusiasts. In one of the early matches, Abdullah Nawaz registered a convincing 3-0 victory over Abdul Ahad Butt in just 23 minutes. He dominated the proceedings with scores of 11-4, 11-5, and 11-9.
Kaleem Shoaib also advanced comfortably, defeating Muhammad Ahmed 3-0 in a 25-minute contest. After taking the first game with ease, Shoaib showed composure in a closely fought second game before sealing the match with scores of 11-2, 13-11, and 11-3. Muhammad Azlan Khawar faced a tougher challenge against Muhammad Zaman Khan but emerged victorious with a 3-1 win. The 38-minute encounter saw intense rallies, with Khawar eventually prevailing 11-6, 11-8, 6-11, 11-7.
In another notable match, Azan Ali Khan overcame Fawad Hussain 3-1 to progress further in the tournament. After dropping the opening game, Azan bounced back strongly to win the next three games 11-6, 11-6, 11-6, completing the match in 33 minutes.
