The Dr. Zia Pharmaceuticals Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2026 continued with exciting matches at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore, on Sunday, as young tennis talent from across the province displayed skill, determination, and competitive spirit across multiple age categories.
In the boys U-18 quarterfinals, M. Umar Ali delivered a dominant performance, defeating Ali Muntazim 6-0. Muhammad Muaz advanced with a convincing 6-2 victory over Hadi Adeel, while Shahzain Faisal edged past Muteeb-ur-Rehman in a closely contested tie-breaker match, winning 7-6. Abdullah Razzaq secured his place in the semifinals by beating Rehaan Khan 6-3.
In the boys U-18 doubles quarterfinals, Aliyan Ali and Abdullah Razzaq cruised to a 6-1 win against Simon Nadeem and Haseeb Shahzad. Muhammad Ahmad Afzal and Muhammad Aayan also registered a comfortable 6-1 victory over Muhammad Ajmal and Atiq-ur-Rehman. In another match, Bilal Awais and Rehaan Khan defeated Faizan Haider and Romail Shahid 6-2.
In the boys U-14 quarterfinals, Muhammad Muaz dominated Fahad Mustafa 6-1, while Ahmad Fareed Yawar posted an identical scoreline against Daniyal Afzal Malik. Aliyan Ali fought hard to overcome Zayd Mansoor 7-5, and Muhammad Aayan beat Mustafa Uzair Rana 6-1. In doubles action, Daniyal Afzal Malik and Zayd Mansoor defeated M. Ehsan Bari and M. Mamnoon Bari 6-2, while Ahmad Fareed Yawar and Shahzain Faisal beat Mahad Rashid and Fahad Mustafa by the same margin.
