Diamond Paints outplayed FG/DIN Polo by a narrow 6-5 margin to win the subsidiary final of the 13th Corps Commander Polo Cup 2025 at the historic Jinnah Polo Fields on Saturday.
Diamond Paints showed composure and attacking flair throughout the closely contested encounter to edge past a resilient FG/DIN side in a thrilling finish.
From the winning side, Raja Jalal Arslan emerged as the top scorer with an outstanding three goals, while Mir Huziafa Ahmed contributed two goals. Mir Shoaib Ahmed added one goal to complete Diamond Paints’ tally of six.
For FG/DIN Polo, Sheikh Muhammad Raffay led the scoring with two goals, while Juan Cruz Greguoli, Agha Musa Ali Khan, and Sheikh Muhammad Farhad chipped in with one goal each, but their efforts fell just short as Diamond Paints held on for victory.
A large number of polo enthusiasts witnessed the exciting subsidiary final at the Jinnah Polo Fields. Prominent among the attendees were Adnan Jalil Azam, Director of Newage Cables, Club Secretary Major (R) Adil Sultan Rao, along with several polo players and officials.
