Shane Watson Hails ICC Champions Trophy for Creating Lifelong Memories

Former Australian cricketer Shane Watson has shared his admiration for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy, calling it a tournament that creates “memories that last a lifetime.”

“That win in 2006 was perhaps the biggest moment of my career. It proved to me that I belonged,” he said.

In 2009, Watson played a pivotal role in Australia’s triumph, particularly in the semi-final against England, where he scored 136* in a match-winning partnership with Ponting. He also recalled the iconic moment in the final against New Zealand, where he completed his century with a six to seal the title.
