K2 Squash has successfully staged the 3rd edition of the K2 Squash PSA Satellite Series, presented by One World Squash, bringing an exciting week of high-quality squash to a memorable close at the K2 Squash Club, Camden, USA.
The tournament attracted a strong field of emerging international players, providing a vital platform for lower-ranked professionals to gain valuable match experience and improve their PSA world rankings. The event once again highlighted K2 Squash’s growing reputation as a hub for competitive squash.
In a gripping final, seventh seed Youssef Bastawy of Egypt delivered an outstanding performance to defeat top seed Luhann Groenewald of South Africa 3-1 in just 39 minutes. Bastawy showcased exceptional composure, tactical awareness, and shot-making ability to secure a well-deserved victory.
Speaking on the occasion, Founder of One World Squash, Karamatullah Khan, reiterated the organisation’s commitment to promoting squash across the United States through PSA Satellite events. He emphasised the importance of such tournaments in providing emerging players with opportunities to develop and climb the global rankings.
He also extended his appreciation to Tournament Director Muhammad Naveed Alam for his professional management and dedicated efforts in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event, further contributing to the growth and success of K2 Squash. The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where Muhammad Naveed Alam presented trophies and cash awards to the winner and runner-up, recognising their excellence and sportsmanship.
