Hamza receives honors from Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan for doubles’ gold Win

Raza Bashir Tarar, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, has honoured and congratulated Muhammad Hamza Ali Rizwan on his victory in Doubles Men’s Final at the Wimbledon 14&Under Championship by All Tennis Federation qualifying round in Saga, Japan on 27th May 2023.

Pakistan’s talented young tennis player played tremendous tennis in the international event in Japan and succeeded in winning gold medal in the doubles final. It is worth mentioning here that Hamza Ali Rizwan is a brother of Hussnain Ali Rizwan and Haider Ali Rizwan, who both had honour of earning a place in the top five of Asian Tennis Federation rankings while Hamza was also among top 20 in the ATF rankings.

Speaking on the occasion, His Excellency Raza Bashir Tarar, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, congratulated and honoured the talented youngster and asked him to work harder to win more such laurels for Pakistan and with more passion and dedication, try to represent Pakistan in top ranked tennis events of world, winning global glories for his homeland.

Expressing his gratitude to the Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, Rizwan Yousaf, father of Hamza Ali Rizwan, said: “I am grateful to your goodself for recognising and honouring my son for his successful participation in the 2023 Wimbledon 14&U Championship ATF Qualifying held in Saga, Japan from May 23 to 37, 2023.

“It was an unforgettable experience for us to attend the Embassy’s event. I was honored to be able to celebrate my son’s accomplishment in the company of esteemed individuals and fellow sports enthusiasts. Our appreciation goes out to your team for their warmth and hospitality.

“Not only did the event provide an opportunity for my son to celebrate his achievement, but it also provided an opportunity for cultural exchange and the strengthening of ties between Japan and Pakistan. In promoting friendship and understanding among different communities, the Embassy has made commendable and inspiring efforts,” he added.

“Additionally, I would like to extend my gratitude to the Embassy staff members, who were instrumental in organizing the event. We enjoyed a delightful experience because of their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine concern.”

“Once again, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the invitation and the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful event. These memories will be treasured for a lifetime by my family and me. I am also thankful to Pakistan Community Japan and its members Imtiaz Malik, Iftikhar Malik and Hafiz Mehar Shamas for their love, hospitality and care throughout our visit to Japan, making it more momentous and remarkable,” Rizwan concluded.
