Hong Kong will lock horns with India in their Asia Cup 2022 opener at the Dubai International Stadium on Wednesday (today). Hong Kong and India last met at the 50-over Asia Cup in 2018, and the Men in Blue won after a great fight by the associate nation.

India posted a decent 285 runs on the scoreboard in 50 overs before restricting Hong Kong to 259-8, thanks to Shikhar Dhawan’s century and an all-round bowling performance by the bowlers.

It is pertinent to mention here that Hong Kong won its all three matches against the UAE, Kuwait and Singapore to secure a place in the group stages of the T20 Asia Cup 2022.
