“Whenever I am given bowl by my captain, I try to bowl in the best possible manner and help my side take crucial wickets at the time of need. We do made some mistakes during the South Africa series, but we will try not to repeat them against Zimbabwe and outclass them with our superb bowling,” the pacer added.

“I am enjoying my cricket and want to give better performance in each coming series. My physio and trainer are working well with me and I am also taking care of myself and my fitness. During the PSL, I did take rest and whenever needed, I am given proper rest,” Shaheen further explained.

“Our bowling unit is young and energetic. We know each other well and we get energy while seeing each other performing well. Hopefully against Zimbabwe, every bowler will try to take more and more wicket, and this competitive atmosphere help us do our best for our national team,” Shaheen concluded.
