Pakistani duo of Tayyab Aslam and Nasir Iqbal have made it to the Squash Men’s Doubles round of 32 in Commonwealth Games 2022. Competing against Ghana’s duo of Evans Ayih and Clement Anafo, Pakistan’s duo was on top as they clinched both sets to keep hopes alive in the multi-sport event. Tayyab and Nasir won straight set by 11-1, 11-1 to seal a convincing victory. Tayyab and Nasir will now face Scotland’s Greg Lobban and Rory Stewart on August 5. Later on, Pakistan suffered back-to-back set backs as they lost both Mixed Doubles and Women’s Doubles round of 16. Faiza Zafar and Nasir Iqbal partnered against New Zealand’s Joelle King and Paul Coll. Pakistani duo lost straight sets by 11-3 and 11-4. In Women’s Doubles, USA’s Rachel Arnold and Aifa Azman beat Pakistani duo of Faiza Zafar and Amna Fayyaz
