Pakistan team thumped India by 3-0 in the World Men’s Squash Team Championship 2022 being played at Nancy, France.
Pakistan squash team exhibited their prowess and outstanding performance against the arch-rivals and overwhelmed them in all the fields to win the match by 3-0. The first match of the day against India saw Pakistan’s rising star Noor Zaman trouncing India’s Krishna Mishra 14-12, 11-8, 11-4 in 32 minutes.
Another promising Pakistani player Muhammad Hamza Khan edged out India’s Arnaav Sareen 11-6, 12-10, 1-11, 6-11 and 11-5 as the match lasted for 47 minutes. In the third and last encounter, Pakistan’s Ashab toppled Parth Ambani 3-0.
Earlier on Thursday, Pakistan outclassed Hong Kong by 3-0. Ashab Irfan was up against Hong Kong’s Tsz Shing and played some outstanding squash to overwhelm him by 11-1, 11-6, 11-2. Talented Noor Zaman then outlasted Akifumi 11-5, 11-6, 11-7 while Muhammad Hamza Khan defeated Jat Tse 4-11, 11-6, 11-8, 11-4 to win the match by 3-0.
