Ecostar Polo Team Knights secured an impressive 5–3.5 victory over Diamond Paints Cobras in the Shahid Hayat Memorial Polo Super League encounter at the Lahore Polo Club.
The tournament features nine teams divided into pools, with the top two sides from each group advancing to the semifinals. The grand finale is scheduled for Friday, April 3, promising an exciting conclusion to the event. In Saturday’s match, Ecostar Knights delivered a commanding performance, spearheaded by Raja Jalal Arsalan, who was in sublime form and hammered four fabulous goals to lead his side to victory. Faisal Khan contributed one goal to complete the tally.
On the other side, Diamond Paints Cobras showed resilience despite trailing, with Mir Shoaib Ahmed scoring two goals and Omar Asjad Malhi adding one. The Cobras also benefited from a handicap advantage at the start, but were unable to capitalize fully against a dominant Knights lineup.
Ecostar Knights maintained control through most of the match, displaying superior coordination and attacking precision to keep their opponents under pressure. The Knights will now look to carry forward their winning momentum when they face Platinum Homes/Guard Fertilizers in their next match scheduled for Sunday at 3:00 PM.
