Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were blessed with a baby girl on January 11 and have now revealed her name, ‘Vamika’. Anushka took to her official Instagram handle to reveal the name of her daughter.
She wrote on Instagram:
“We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one , Vamika has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears , laughter , worry , bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full Thanking you all for your wishes , prayers and good energy.”
The couple was rumoured to be dating for quite sometime before they got married in late 2017 during a private affair in Italy. Since then, the two are continuously spotted on vacations and they share sweet messages for the other on social media platforms.
While writing on the twitter she said that:

Kohli’s paternity leave had, meanwhile, sparked a huge debate among several cricket fans as he left Australia after the first Test. The Indian captain returned from Australia after his side’s massive defeat in the Test series opener. While many had different opinions, he didn’t alter his plans and was with his wife ahead of the birth of their newborn. Thus, he was lauded by many on social media platforms.
