LAHORE :AMT, Netsol and Zameen.com scored victories in the Professor Mukhtar Ahmed Butt Memorial Corporate League.
Four round matches of the Professor Mukhtar Ahmed Butt Memorial Corporate League were played at Model Town Greens and Race Course Cricket Ground. In the first match played at Model Town Greens, AMT beat DPS by 51 runs. Playing first, AMT scored 187 runs for the loss of 9 wickets. Ashfaq Tahir played a brilliant innings of 59 runs while Muneeb Butt bowled brilliantly and took 5 wickets. In pursuit of the target, the DPS team managed to score 136 runs. Imtiaz Hussain scored 29 runs while Qaiser Nawaz took 4 wickets.Qaiser Nawaz awarded Man of the Match for his excellent bowling.
In the second match, Zameen.com defeated Jazz by 26 runs. Playing first, Zameen.com scored 198 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Nadeem Akmal played an unbeaten innings of 85 runs while Ijaz Rafique took three wickets. In pursuit of the target, the Jazz team scored 172 runs. Khurram Humayun scored 52 runs while Nadeem Akmal got two wickets. Nadeem Akmal was awarded the best player of the match for his all-round performance.
In the first match played at the Race Course Cricket Ground, Netsol defeated Jaffer Brothers by 5 wickets. Playing first, Jaffer Brothers scored 137 runs for the loss of 8 wickets. Usman Waheed played a brilliant innings of 53 runs while Saif Rasool bowled 2 wickets. The Netsol team achieved the target at a loss of 5 wickets. Shahzad Ali scored an unbeaten 34 while Rehan Bilal took two wickets. Shehzad Ali was awarded the best player of the match for his outstanding performance. In the second match, Netsol defeated Auditor General of Pakistan by 8 wickets.
Playing first, the AGP team piled up 126 runs. Muhammad Waqas scored 23 runs while Muhammad Faisal took one wicket. The Netsol team achieved the target at a loss of two wickets.
