Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane netted braces as Al Nassr defeated Al Ittihad 5-2 in a Saudi Pro League 2023/24 tie on Tuesday.

Needing victory at the Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Stadium to keep their title hopes alive, Al Nassr found themselves trailing to Abderrazak Hamdallah’s goal in the 14th minute.

That sparked a reaction with Ronaldo drawing them level from the penalty spot five minutes later, the Portuguese star netting his 19th league goal of the season.
Talisca put Al Nassr ahead in the 38th minute but defending champions Al Ittihad forced their way back into the match through Hamdallah in the 51st minute.

A second Ronaldo penalty conersion in the 68th minute restored Al Nassr’s lead with Mane securing the points with his efforts in the 75th and 82nd minutes.
Al Nassr will aim to maintain their momentum against Al Taawoun on Saturday with leaders Al Hilal to play Al Fayha on Friday .
