Seoul : Korea Hockey Association Invites Malaysian National Team for Joint Training at Jincheon Athletes’ Village
The Korea Hockey Association has recently announced its plans to extend an invitation to the Malaysian men’s national team for joint training sessions at the Jincheon Athletes’ Village in Chungcheongbuk-do. The training program will continue until the 28th of the month.
The Malaysian team, comprising 20 players and 8 coaches, will engage in joint training with 24 players and 5 coaches from the Korean national team. As part of the training, four friendly matches will be played between the two nations.
Shin Seok-gyo, the head coach of the Korean national team, expressed his hopes for the joint training to serve as a valuable opportunity to prepare for the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games. He emphasized the significance of skill sharing and collaboration with the Malaysian national team.
The joint training initiative is under the supervision of the Korea Sports Association and the Korea Hockey Association. It receives sponsorship from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, as well as the National Sports Promotion Corporation.
