Rawalpindi: Pakistan and New Zealand will face each other in the 5th and final match of the T20 series in Rawalpindi today.
The green shirts already lead the series 2 – 1, and will eye clinching the the series decider today. Similarly, New Zealand will focus on leveling the series.
For the record, Kiwis thrashed Shaheens in the 3rd T20I, while the 4th T20I couldn’t be completed due to inclement weather.
The match will start at 9pm PST.
The Pak vs Nz T20 series will be followed by an ODI series in Rawalpindi and Karachi, respectively, where the first ODI will be played in Rawalpindi, followed by the rest in Karachi.

This is the same squad that hosted and won the series against Srilanka 2-0, including Benjamin Lister and Cole McConchie, who’re set to make their ODI debuts in Rawalpindi on the 26th of April in Rawalpindi. It should be noted that McConchie was the highest run-scorer across all formats this season in New Zealand.
Umpires officiating the Pak vs NZ ODI series include the world renowned Aleem Dar, followed by Ahsan Raza and others.
For the record, it must be kept in mind that some of the matches in the current series are compensatory matches in return for the Kiwis’ last minute pull-out of their Pakistan tour in September 2021.
