Muhammad Rizwan has been emerging as hero of Pakistan cricket team with his impressive knocks one after another.
It is worth mentioning here that after former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, Muhammad Rizwan has taken the reins of Pakistan cricket team wicketkeeping and did his job with great responsibility and not only this, he also batted like a hero as his bat kept on firing runs consecutively and also helped the national team register victories.
In the ongoing series too against South Africa, besides Pakistan captain Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan also played key role for the national team in winning the ODI series while the first T20 international saw the major contribution from hero Muhammad Rizwan.
The stats reveal the last 10 innings of Muhammad Rizwan in the T20 internationals as 89, 104 not out, 51, 42, 71, 41, 76, 43, 66, 74 not out. The last innings of 74 not out has been termed as one of the bests by the former cricket greats.
Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja has termed Rizwan as “Mr. Dependable” in his comments. He praised the great match-winning knock of Rizwan and said that such responsible innings of a Pakistani batsmen are the dire need of the hour, and the more batsmen play such brilliant knocks, the better results Pakistan cricket team will produce.
In his early days as a wicketkeeper batsman, Rizwan was criticized by many former cricketers and a specific region’s media persons, who were terming him bad choice against Sarfaraz Ahmed, but with his brilliant performances one after another, Rizwan not only shut his critic mouths but also cemented his place in the national team in great style. Now he is being termed as “Hero of Pakistan”.
