Lahore : Newly-elected Punjab Squash Association (PSA) President Omar Saeed has said that he has taken over the charge of the association with the aim of taking Punjab squash to new heights.
Addressing the executive committee after taking over the charge as new PSA president, Omer Saeed said:
“The election commission conducted the Punjab Squash Association elections according to its constitution, where all the member units as well as representative of Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) and Sports Board Punjab (SBP) were present for the smooth conduct the fair and transparent elections.”
The PSA President lauded the role of previous PSA body for their efforts in promotion of Punjab Squash. “The previous body has played key role in the promotion and development of squash and Punjab players have been excelling at national and international level. We will carry forward the great work done by the previous body and try to facilitate Punjab players in the best possible manner so that they may further improve their skills and give their best at higher level.”
He said that Tariq Siddique is General Secretary of the association and he is also a great organizer. “Tariq Farooq Rana is our Senior Vice President, Sheeraz Saleem, Haider Aziz, Imran Mukhtar, Umar Masood and Jamshed Fakhri Vice Presidents and Rizwan Zahoor Treasurer. The executive committee members are CEO Diamond Paints Mir Shoaib Ahmed from Lahore Zone, Naeem Dastagir from Faisalabad Zone, Dr Eraj Malik from Rawalpindi Zone, Dr Mughees Ameen from Bahawalpur Zone, Adeela Marzouk from SNGPL and lady member Tania Malik. I hope my team will utilize all its skills and experience to help players and Punjab squash to reach at the highest level.”
